Fairfield, CT (July 26, 2010) – Dimensions In Glass, Inc., a full-service contractor specializing in the design, implementation and installation of custom glass products for the residential and commercial markets, formally introduces Aegis Glass™, a revolutionary glass-coating product that protects shower enclosures to keep them looking newer longer. It is added as a one-time application at the time of installation in an effort to reduce the amount of effort required to keep the shower door looking new and clean.
Named after the garment worn by Greek gods to protect themselves from threat, the word “Aegis” symbolizes invulnerability and protection. This product acts in a similar fashion, incorporating a “non-stick” polymeric resin that shields shower doors against hard water, humidity, soap and shampoo build-up and causing them to simply glide off without the use of harsh chemicals. Additionally, Aegis Glass™ promotes a more hygienic environment by creating an invisible barrier against harmful organic and inorganic contaminants.
